The brand
Culturespaces is a pioneer in the management and staging of cultural sites and immersive exhibitions. With iconic venues such as Atelier des Lumières, Bassins des Lumières, and Carrières des Lumières, the company revolutionizes the artistic experience by making art accessible to the widest audience through spectacular immersive experiences.
The challenge
After a successful initial test during the temporary Tintin exhibition in Brussels, Culturespaces entrusted us with the management of acquisition and conversion strategies for all their venues in France: Bassins des Lumières, Atelier des Lumières, Carrières des Lumières, as well as the Jacquemart-André Museum and Caumont Centre d’Art. The main challenge: effectively combining organic and paid acquisition strategies while adapting to each site’s specificities — as each has its own program and calendar.
The project and its results
Culturespaces, a leader in immersive experiences and the management of prestigious cultural sites, challenged us with a large-scale mission: optimizing their digital acquisition through a multichannel approach combining SEO and SEA to maximize conversions and footfall across their French venues.
Each site has its own unique audience and programming. Atelier des Lumières in Paris, Bassins des Lumières in Bordeaux, or the Jacquemart-André Museum all share common challenges — seasonality, visitor profiles, or brand awareness — but each requires specific monitoring and adjustments. We developed an agile approach, adjusting budgets and acquisition channels based on exhibitions, peak periods, and opportunities specific to each venue.
The success of our acquisition strategies lies in rigorous planning. We established a precise schedule to anticipate SEA campaign launches and SEO optimizations, aligned with each site’s key moments. Thanks to a test & learn approach and the deployment of clear, customized dashboards, we continuously analyze performance, refine messaging, and optimize targeting to maximize results and achieve objectives for each location.
Measuring the impact of each action is crucial to continuously refining strategies. We enhanced conversion tracking to monitor campaign effectiveness accurately and identify the most impactful channels. For example, we tested specific tactics to boost weekday attendance or targeted specific audiences, such as potential visitors to the Paris 2024 Olympic Games for Atelier des Lumières.
Rather than treating SEO and SEA separately, we implemented cross-analysis of both channels. This method allows us to identify new opportunities, adjust strategies based on search trends, and maximize the overall impact of all actions taken. Every data point fuels continuous improvement and strengthens digital performance.
Through this optimization and adaptation approach, we support Culturespaces in developing a digital acquisition strategy that matches their ambitions. The ultimate goal: attract more and more visitors to these exceptional venues and offer everyone an unforgettable cultural experience.
